Fair Warning, it is another picture overload blog.....
We went to Atlanta a few weekends ago for a mini vacation. We actually ended up planning the trip on the perfect weekend as Hurricane Matthew hit our area hard that weekend and it was beautiful and all sunshine while we were in Atlanta. We were very blessed and had only minor damage to one of our gutters during the storm. But unfortunately, so many people around us were affected very bad from the storm. The week prior to this Hurricane a bunch of rain dumped on our area causing some flooding and then the next week the Hurricane comes and dumps even more....so a lot of flooding, power/water outages, sinkholes, etc. The kids around here loved it as they got a full week off of school due to all of the damage...now just waiting to see how many Saturdays they are going to have to go to make up those days :(
But we had a wonderful visit in Atlanta....we spent the first part of Saturday at the Georgia Aquarium and then headed to Stone Mountain that evening for a quick bike ride before hitting up the Laser Show. We stayed there in the park 2 nights and got to go back to the Mountain on Sunday and enjoyed all the festivities there. I even saw a guy and his sweet family that I/my brother went to high school with - such a small world!!

The Hurricane worked in our favor again as Kerrick was out of school and Jason was able to take them out and about for a whole day. So naturally they went fishing!!

The boys buddy (Jason's coworker, Caleb, that the boys are always talking about) had his 4-wheeler when they went fishing and graciously took the boys for a ride. All Caelum keeps saying is Caleb's 4wheeler goes faster than a cheetah!! LOL

The latest and greatest thing....roller skating!! We have been to 2 parties there over the last month and the boys think it is so much fun!!
