Busy Times

Well, I did not hold up my end of the bargain in trying to blog more....sorry!
All is swell here, just super busy. Last week was a bit long as Kerrick decided he wanted to get up 3 and 4 times a night and wanting to eat again during the night, so it made for a long week for us all. And then over the weekend we were running around all weekend. But thankfully over the weekend Kerrick decided to going back to sleeping through the night in which he wakes up only 1 or 2 times but goes right back sleep....I think he may have been going through another growth spurt - but who knows, it is all a guessing games seeing how he can not express anything verbally to us now! :)
We did take him to the doctor for a few issues last week and he is already over 13 pounds (with his diaper and clothes on!) So he is growing extremely fast and filling out nicely! He is doing great and doing new things all the time. He loves to talk and smile at you all the time....and he is starting to get louder and louder - too funny! And he has discovered the television and loves to watch all the movement and colors - he better not get too use to it as we will not let him become a tv junkie kid!
I will try to post some pics later on this week...but not too much else going on other than the usual!!

13 weeks old

Well, all of the family has left this morning :(...Teddy, Gramms, Nanny, Uncle Chris and Angela. Teddy, Chris and Angela came in Friday evening while Gramms and Nanny have been here a little over a week watching Kerrick while Mrs. Kim was on vacation. It was a huge blessing that they could come up and watch Kerrick for us....although I am sure they are glad to go home to get rest although I am bit sad they had to leave. We had a wonderful time hanging out with them and Kerrick of course enjoyed all the attention! He has had a couple of more firsts while they were here....he is now using his bumbo chair in which I believe he loves because he is sitting up and can see all around verus lying there all the time. And he also got to have some apple juice for the first time. He is battling some good ol constipation, so we are trying some apple juice but does not seem to be "unclogging" him, so we may resort to some prune juice and water after we see how the rest of today goes. But Gramm's said he sucked it right down and loved it! He has been sleeping through the night still and staying on schedule with everyone here! And we can tell he starting to see things farther away - he LOVES the television and all the movement and colors on there. He will just stare at the television. And he is talking lots and getting louder when he talks - tooooo funny!!
I will try to be a bit better at posting a little more often than once a week....but don't hold me to it!!

3 Months Old!!

Kerrick is 3 months old today! WOW has the time flown by already. He is sleeping through the night...anywhere between 8-10 hours at a time with about 1 or 2 stirring around times in which I just go in pop a pacifier in his mouth and pat his tummy. So hopefully I can cut this habit out that I have started with him really soon!!
Gramm's and Nanny made it in Thursday night and will stay until next Sunday. So we are enjoying having them here with us! I will post pictures later on of Kerrick and his grandma's!!
Jason went fishing this morning and as you can tell by the picture he caught a bigun'! And this was Kerrick's first time seeing one face to face - you can tell he was extremely excited to see it!!
So we are having a good weekend and looking forward to dad, Chris and Angela joining up with us all next weekend! Until then here are a few pictures from last week and today - Kerrick is holding his head up really well and is so proud of himself!! :)

2 Nights in a Row!!!

Kerrick has been sleeping "through" the night the past two nights. He has been going to bed between 9 and 10 and then starts stirring at 1 in which I just pop his pacifier back in his mouth and he is off to sleep again until we are up and getting ready for the day. So we shall see if he keeps it up. I must admit it scared me the first night as I woke up from a deep sleep thinking he had not gotten up at all and something was wrong - when I only walked to his crib to find him still sleeping peacefully.

My Animals

Kerrick was decked out in all his animals this past week and Daddy had to get his picture in them all!!

We had a wonderful first Easter with Kerrick! Our church is on Saturday evenings so we had church and Kerrick and I were in the nursery for the first time last night. I am assigned the first Saturday of every month and it was one busy night!! Before church Kerrick went to his first birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese and then headed to church afterwards. This morning we woke up and headed to Yorktown beach for a sunrise service with a church - what a wonderful morning of Praising the Lord!!

Here are some pictures from yesterday and today. There is one of Kerrick's first piece of artwork - Kim and he made this last week for Easter. The one with Kerrick and I were from yesterday and then him in carseat and the beach pictures were from this mornings sunrise service. The Lord certainly gave us a beautiful morning!
