Well, I wanted to dedicate this blog to Momma B!! We are sooo excited about your decision you made to be Dunk'd!! What a wonderful and exciting decision you have made in your walk with the Lord. We are praying for this life changing time for you as well as the doors the Lord will continue to open for you and dad.

A Weekend of Good Eats!!

So we have not ate out in a while, but we have sure made up for it this weekend! LOL!! Last night we went to The Cheesecake Factory for our second time....GOOD STUFF!! One of Jason's co-workers got married yesterday and then we all met up to eat and celebrate. We only waited for about 2.5 hours, but the food and fellowship was well worth the wait. We did not get home until midnight....how do people go clubbing and get in at the wee hours of the morning. I guess I am an old hag now (well not that I have ever been a night owl - isn't that right Carissa?!!)
We woke up this morning and went and saw the movie Stop Loss - it was an ok movie. They kinda got a bit sidetracked during the movie and was slow at times...so I would wait until it came on video to catch it. But just my opinion.
After the movie we met up with Rob and Brandy and Megan (they were stationed in Germany and just arrived a few weeks ago here at Langley.) A Buffalo Wild Wings, just opened up here today, so we all went to try them. It was only a 1.5 hour wait for a table then about another 30-45 minute wait on the food....so we will be waiting until the newness wears off to hit that up again!! But it was good as we remember it being...that use to be our hang out spot when we were in Florida.
And as you see in the pics posted, J just left to go fishing/kayaking tonight. The stache comes off in 3 days....so we had to get a close up of its' last few days before he shaves it off!

HAPPY EASTER!!

WOW!! What an awesome, exciting day today has been and is. We had an awesome church service celebrating our Risen Savior!! And then we went to some of our church peeps house for some GOOD grub and fellowship....we are still sooo full and miserable from all of the good food! Thanks to the Hrichak's for having us all over and celebrating Easter with you all!

This past Wednesday night was Jason's last night in the field until the inspection...we hope!! So he has spent every night since then trying to get back on days....so please continue to keep him and his unit in your prayers in that they pass their inspection next month. His shop is also "celebrating" Mustache March and as you can see in the pics, he has been working diligently in trying to grow the stache! Too Funny! J's head is cut off in one of the pics, but you can see the stache good in that one! This morning he was trying to comb it down, but as you will see in the pics, it is growing whatever way it wants to...but hey, it is helping to boost the morale around the shop!! It gives them all something to laugh about as they are all trying to grow the staches!! So as he is trying to grow facial hair, I cut my hair this week...big change for me, so it is still growing on me. I did finally purchase the CHI hair straightener, so I am awaiting that to come in the mail this week...I am hoping that will help me be a straight hair girl during the humid days that are approaching us! So we shall see.

What a Week....

Well it has been a very busy past week and gonna be another busy one (mostly for J though!) He went back to night shift last night. I saw him this morning as he was coming in from work and I was heading to church. He had been up for over 24 hours....so needless to say he slept all day until he had to go back tonight. So I at least got to see him this afternoon for about 15 minutes before I had to leave for our life group and he had to get ready to head into work. So we will not see each other again until Thursday or Friday...I know I will be glad when this inspection is over and I know he will especially be glad when it is over so he can get back onto a "normal" shift again!

But I do want to give our a shout out to J....what an awesome hubby I have! He was actually off on Friday so he was trying to get the ol blue car fixed up so he can sell her....so in the mix of fixing the car he did all of our laundry, so we would not have to spend Saturday doing laundry. I was late getting home that night because my friend, Amanda, had her precious baby girl, Kayla, and I was visiting them until late....so Jason had cooked dinner and waited a while for me to get to home to eat. So Thanks Bud for being the awesome husband and man of God that you are!!

Please be in prayer for Jason and his troops this week and their morale....and that the inspection goes well!!
