Family Visiting

Last week Gramm's and Freddy came in for a visit. We had a great time hanging out. J went fishing that Saturday and us girls and Kerrick went outlet shopping. Then Sunday we took Kerrick to the beach for the first time. He LOVED it. We sat at the edge of the water and he would just play in it and eat sand and drink the salt water! Too funny!

Freddy flew out last Tuesday and Mom stayed on to watch Kerrick for us as Kim is out of town. Jason was out of town all last week too. So it was a busy fun week. We took Kerrick to the doctor on Thursday as his breakout on his face was getting worst so he was diagnosed with impetigo.

Friday afternoon Jason returned home from his TDY and then Gimma and Big Daddy along with Honey and Minnie made it to town. Then Saturday morning Teddy came in to town for Kerrick's dedication which was Saturday night. Then yesterday Teddy and Gramm's left out to head back home. And Gimma and Big Daddy will be here until after the 4th of July! It has been great to have everyone and Kerrick is of course loving them all here and all the attention!!

Happy 9 Year Anniversary!!

WOW....today is our 9 year anniversary!! The time seems to go faster and faster! I am truly blessed to be married to my best friend. We have done so much and made many memories in just 9 years - I am excited to see what the next 50 will bring!! You are a wonderful husband and man of God and now an amazing Dad. I surely am the luckiest girl!!

Morbid Post

Sorry for this sad picture....this is what we woke up to in our backyard Saturday morning. Then on Sunday there was a dead bird - craziness!!

Kerrick went on his first road trip this weekend. We went to GA/SC for the weekend. We left Friday after work (about 6:45 pm and got there about 2:30am.) It was a long evening/night but Kerrick did wonderful. Saturday we went to get my haircut and a little shopping while Jason and Chris went golfing. We came back home hung out until it was time to meet Ed and Dee for dinner...WOW is all I can say about our dinner at good ol Country Boys! It was a fabulous dinner!! Then Sunday we went to church and then Teddy and Gramm's had a cookout to invite a few family and friends over to meet Kerrick and of course eat some fabulous food! Despite the rain we had a great time visiting and showing off Kerrick (even though he slept most of the time - he was wore out from the trip still??) Then we hung out at home the rest of the evening. We got up Monday and went for a scrumptious breakfast at Ed and Dee's house and was on the road by 1245. Kerrick did awesome on the trip home and needless to say he slept all night long and woke up at 7:00 this morning! I was off today, which was wonderful in that I can get all the unpacking, laundry, cleaning and shopping done in that we do not have to do it all this weekend!! We had a wonderful time with our family and miss them all already!!
