Well this is a bit of a belated post, but it has been a busy 2 weeks!! Our family came in for a week and half, so we were busy hanging out with them all! We had a great time hanging out with the fam and just spending time with them all seeing how our visits with each other are not as often as we wish they could be. It was sad to see them go because we know it will most likely be a while before we get to see everyone again, especially with J deploying here in a few weeks. I will post some pics from the visit later on this week...our website is down at the moment, but will hopefully be up and running again soon?!
We do want to send out a few belated Happies...June is a very busy month of celebrating in our family! Last Wednesday, was Nanny's, Michelle's GMa birthday. So Happy Belated Birthday Nanny! We hope you had a wonderful day and a year full of blessings ahead! Then on Saturday, June 21, we were able to celebrate with Brad and Kelly for their 30th birthday! We went out to a wonderful seafood restaurant and then came back for some good ol ice cream and cake! We were excited that we got to celebrate a holiday with them and the rest of the family that was here!
And lastly, our good friends from Germany, Mike and Jamilia, celebrated their wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 21 as well. So Happy Anniversary to you guys and to the many more years to come as a couple! Miss you guys!!
Tomorrow we will be back into our routine again of work and school, J goes back to work tomorrow after being off for a week and a half. He has a busy few weeks ahead of him in preparation to leave for his training. We still have not word on if we will be moving, but hope to hear something before he leaves for his training in Colorado.
We hope you all have a wonderful week this week and reflect upon our country and our soldiers who have and who are fighting for our country and ALL the Freedoms we have!! God Bless America!!
Until next time.....

God is Good!!

What a week it has been....very busy! God is so good and faithful to us. Thanks for the prayers for my family, God has definitely done a miracle for my mom. I just pray that the Lord continue to speak to us and let us see what we are or were to learn from this whole experience and may He continue to heal her body! Love you Mom and can't wait to see you soon!!
Also, an update on J's job....there is still a chance that we may be moving when he returns from his deployment, but there is still many things to be decided. His unit here will no longer be in existence in a few weeks. They had a meeting earlier this week and there are 3 places they are giving the "option" of going (Las Vegas, Oklahoma, or Georgia.) And personally, I do not like any of the places because they are Combat Coms which to me equates he will be gone a lot...but like Jason said, each squadron is different, so he may not have to be gone a lot. And yes, I realize that that is the military life! So in the meantime they are working on trying to get him a spot in another unit here at Langley in which we would not have to move. We are hoping for him just to move to another unit, seeing how he has a bit more rank now, and is a 7level that they will accept him over there and that we just got here may play in the decision too? So we are just praying that we go where He wants us to be. So everything is up in the air, but that is what the options are for now....so J has updated his dream sheet in hopes that if we do have to move that he gets a good assignment if they let him go to another place besides the 3 "options" they are giving everyone.
Sorry if I am sounding confused with this blog.....my head is spinning with all that is going on!! LOL
So in the exciting news of the Wells....our family is coming NEXT WEEK!! We are sooo excited that both our parents will be here along with Brad and Kelly and our nieces Katelyn and Kara! We have not met Kara yet, so we are excited to get to meet her finally. Unfortunately, I still have to go to school but J is able to take off the whole time they are here. We are looking forward to hanging out with everyone when they come!
And of course as you have family planned to come things go wrong around the house. We have had some hot temps lately, and of course the A/C is not wanting to cooperate. So I am home from work this morning waiting on the repair guy and will head to school shortly.
We pray that you all have a wonderful weekend and until next time.....

The Lord is my Strength
Praise God for He does not give us more than we can handle....after a week as this, mainly a day like Friday was, I have to keep telling myself "The Lord will not give us more than we can handle!"
I first want to ask for an unspoken prayer request for my family...please just keep them in your prayers these next few weeks in that God will give them strength, peace and wisdom.
Also, please keep praying for our friends Lauren and her hubby Darin and all of their family. She sent out an update yesterday and here is the summary of the continued prayer request "Please pray for my dad and his decision about which treatment to do as well as safe travels for he and Pat. Please pray for Darin's mom, Marlene, that the scans next week don't show the cancer anywhere else and that she will be comfortable with the treatment options."
And one last bit of info we also got this week was that Jason will most likely be leaving at the end of July beginning of August to go to Colorado for training before he heads downrange. He does not know any of the specifics of when he will leave and how long he will get to come back here before heading downrange. So please be praying for us as his "4" month deployment is now turning into "5-6" months give or take a few weeks with all the waiting times he will go through as he makes his way downrange. And not to be selfish, but I have 2 weeks in August off in school and we were going to go on a vacation...seeing we normally go on vacation when he returns and I will be in school and can't go, we were going to use these 2 weeks for that vacation time...and of course it has been nixed due to the training.
On to a few praise reports....Chris, my brother, is closing his business and has a new job lined up and will begin on June 23. He will be working for SRP Federal Credit Union, under the supervision of the Great Ed Templeton! Chris will be maintaining all of the buildings. This is a HUGE blessing for him and he has been very patient in the waiting of this door to be opened. Also, I just received my acceptance letter today for another scholarship that I applied for, the HAP Arnold Grant. I have been awarded $2,000. Praise God!
I pray you all have a wonderful weekend!
