I am in awe at how fast my school year has flown by. This past week has begun all the "lasts" of everything. It was my last clinical week with my group...so of course we had to go celebrate after clinicals on Wednesday. We also received our information for graduation and applications to take our boards test...I am EXTREMELY nervous already for my boards. The ending of school is definitely a bittersweet thing. Excited to finally accomplish one more goal yet bitter because I will not see my new friends every day, all day, like we have been for the last 11 months. I have definitely made some wonderful friends and we have all become "family" to each other over the last 11 months. I just can only pray that I have left His mark in their life.... By the way, our graduation is Thursday, August 20. So if any is bored and want to come, you are more than welcome to come.
It has been an interesting week as well because our household has been full of car problems that started last Saturday. The beamer decided she wanted to show off a bit. The door locks were not working correctly and the starter was going out (J had an appointment already scheduled later in week for the starter but seeing how the locks decided to mess up we took her in on Saturday.) So we had a courtesy car all week up until Friday. Praise the Lord for warranties and the fact that they gave us a courtesy car. On Wednesday, the blue car decided she would like to show off a bit too and "broke down" on Jason at work. So as it always seems to go, we have bible study on Wednesday night and had to miss it due to car problems....we are NOT giving the devil any more credit but praising the Lord for the many blessings he has given us this week. So J, has spent all weekend working on ol whitie to get her running and "grounding" the blue car in the meantime:)
I must say I was sitting on our couch yesterday and today studying and I would hear J start the white car up and my insides would jump with excitement, knowing that she would crank up after sitting there for months on end. As I am excited as can be, J comes in all mad because something is clicking, ticking, or rubbing or making some kinda noise. He has a very senstive ear, well at least for the cars (sometimes has selective hearing when I am yapping to him with one of my stories.) JK LOL! I have been out to help him a bit and he would be like don't you hear that....it would be a suttle noise but to him it is super loud:) Too funny! So as I am typing this, I am praying Lord may I hear your voice as Jason hears these "super loud" noises of his car. I feel most times that I am missing His voice or not listening hard enough or not in tune with Him....but oh my prayer is that I become more in tune with His voice like J is in tune or in sync with ol whitey and her noises!
We hope you all have had a wonderful weekend....we are just hoping to finally see some snow tonight or tomorrow?!!
