7 months old

Yes, that is right...Kerrick is already 7 months old!! I still can not believe how time surely has flown by. Kerrick started his 7month birthday off with a bang...at the ER. On Monday he fell out of his swing and was fine. Then Tuesday morning the dresser "fell" on him and later that day went to the ER after he fell and popped his elbow out of place. He is all better and back to busy Mr. Kerrick!! He did great at the ER and was a tough trooper as they popped it back in. He cried for maybe 2 minutes and was back to playing shortly there after. We did lower his crib though, as he is pulling up and standing now!!

Tuesday morning he also went to the dermatologist to see what is going on with his face. Still no answers just another cream to try and if it is not cleared up by Friday he has to go back! So we shall see as it really has not cleared up yet or made any signs yet.

Other than that...we are all doing great just ready to get this move going and get all the fun stuff that goes along with moving over with.

Gramms Visit

This past weekend Gramms (my mom) came up for a visit. Teddy is out in Sturgis with his buddies on their motorcycle. She arrived on Thursday and left yesterday morning :( We had a great time and Kerrick loved hanging out with his Gramms. He of course had to show off to her but has not quite mastered the crawling thing yet.....he is sooo close but can not get one of his legs out to get on all 4's!! He even slept all night throughout the weekend and slept in until 7am but of course Sunday night back to his normal routine of sleeping in shorter spurts throughout the night?! As usual, we had a wonderful visit and was very sad to see her go!!
Here are a few pics from the weekend...the ones by the water are in Yorktown. We usually go walking every evening as Kerrick loves to be outside, so this weekend we started going to Yorktown to walk - he loves to people and dog watch! We also go to the park near our house or just around the neighborhood. The pic with Kerrick in his carrier with Jason is from the park. There is a pic of him in his walker too - Gramms bought him one this weekend. He can only go backwards in it and then gets mad and does not want to play in it anymore after he gets stuck!

6 Months Old

Kerrick went for his 6 month well child appointment this past Thursday. He went the previous week for his shots and did great as usual! Here are his stats for 6 months old...

Weight - 18.6 pounds (55th percentile)

Height - 26 inches (50th percentile)

Head Circumference - 18.1 inches (25th percentile)

He is learning and doing new things everyday...he sits by himself, rolls over, loves to eat, loves to be outside, laughs a lot, talks alot, loves to be bounced, like to eat my food and feet and the same time, flap my arms all the time especially when I am excited, and loves to play with the baby (himself) in the mirror.

Texas Bound

We found out last Wednesday that it is official that we are headed to Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. Jason applied for a special duty assignment back in June and was accepted officially last week. Jason has to report no later than 31 October, so we will start heading that way beginning to middle of October if he gets approval to leave that early. So we will keep you posted on the happenings. We are excited about what God has in store for us as we starting a new chapter!!
