Children's Museum

Yesterday, Kerrick and Mommy had a date for the afternoon! I took him all by himself to the Children's Museum in New Braunfels. Jason was working, so Miss Janelle, came over to hang out with Caelum for several hours while I took Kerrick over to the museum. We will definitely be going back to that one as he had a blast!

A Post for Kerrick

Kerrick had another dental appointment this past

week...and came out with another great report - teeth look all pretty and in good shape! We just have to push more on his brushing. We only do it once a day but need to do it twice a day - we should have been doing it twice a day anyways, but just never have! And I forgot to mention that last week at school he was caught sleep walking at nap time. He got up and walked around all the cots pulling his blanket behind him. The teachers called his name a few times and then went over to him and touched him and startled him. So he cried for a bit but went back to sleep. Now we wonder has been doing this all along when he wakes up and comes and sits/sleeps outside our door at night?

Caelum's 9 months old!!

Caelum turned 9 months last week! And he is doing all kinds of new tricks. He is an official crawler (front crawler that is!) and will "speed" across the room. He has always preferred standing and jumping but he is pulling himself up onto things and letting go and standing by himself...that is until he realizes it and then falls to the floor. We went into his room this week and he was standing in his crib, he has been doing it at school but not home until now that is!! So the crib is officially being lowered!! And we found out yesterday after picking him up from school that this coming week he will be transitioning to the Butterflies! It is a bittersweet time to hear he is moving up....excited for something new for him but so sad he is growing up so fast and sad to leave his current teachers (but we love his new teachers just as much as they were Kerrick's first teachers) But we go in a few weeks for his well child...so I will have his stats then! Here are his 9 month chair pictures...it is getting harder and harder each month to get these!! Too Funny!

Crazy few weeks....

I think we are finally on the upside of things after of month of sickness and other things!! Caelum had a virus, then pink eye the next week, then I had a stomach bug and now getting over bronchitis and Kerrick has had cold/allergy stuff. Thankfully Jason has stayed pretty healthy!! I rarely get sick, but I think we have hit every spectrum this past month. Then to top it off, I somehow picked up a razorblade in my tire (thankfully I was pulling into a parking lot and NOT going 70 down the highway.) That was the first flat tire I have had! On a brighter note....

here are a few pictures from this past Sunday. Caelum had had enough and fell asleep in his walker! Then Kerrick has got to play with our neighbor, Ethan and his cool toys! Ethan was very kind to share with Kerrick and let him drive his jeep.

Caelum first crawl

As of tonight, Caelum is officially mobile!! He started crawling forward (usually he scoots backwards) tonight!!  We did have to bribe him with a toy but nevertheless he is crawling!!
