Ol Stompin' Grounds

I was off today and the boys were out of school so we headed back to the good ol stompin grounds we usually are regulars at, but have not been since last year...the playground on Lackland.  It was a beautiful day today and took advantage of it all!!

Chores

No better time than now to start some free child labor :)....well maybe more like teaching responsibility!  And as they get older we will have to purchase more magnets!!  And NO they will not get paid to do their chores as it is something we will expect them to do as part of this family.

Prayer Request

We have a HUGE prayer request for a very dear friend of my families....Lauren.  She was a bridesmaid in our wedding and have none her forever!!!  She was just diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 34.  She is married to a wonderful guy, Darin and they have 2 precious little guys, Hunter and Henry who are close in age to our little dudes.  She is to have surgery this week....so please pray for her and her family during this time!!

More Toofies!

Caelum has had only his 2 bottom teeth since he was 11 months old...until now!   Last week one of his top teeth finally broke through and then this week, 3 of his other top teeth broke through!!  Just hope the biting dose not start now?!

This past weekend Kerrick received a birthday gift from Aunt Freddy in Germany.  It was a suitcase tin and full of cookies....I think he ate half of one package after opening up (yes, we were bad parents and let him have at it!!)  Thank you Freddy!!  (Sorry the pictures are not the best...it was with my camera on my phone!)

100th Day of School

Last Wednesday Kerrick's class celebrated the 100th day of school.  This is a pic one of his teachers sent me!

Fun Run

Last weekend, Jason and I participated in the Graffiti run here.  It was a 5K run/walk with a whole lotta color.  Here are a few pictures from that....

Finally....another tooth

Caelum has had a wonderful week and (not trying to jinx us) but has actually been a happy little guy almost everynight this week.  We knew he had it in him, it has just taken 15 months to come out!!  Too Funny!  But he has finally had a 3rd tooth to break through.  It is one of his top teeth and he has about 3 more that look oh so close.  Thankfully having mostly gums it has not stopped him from eating table food....he has been eating table food since about 6 months, he did not last long on baby food! 

A few weeks ago he had another ear infection which has won he a visit to ENT.  We have his appointment set for March 11 for the initial consultation and most likely a set of tubes after that.  And will visiting Urology again in a few weeks to see what is going on with his Kidneys - just waiting to hear from them with the appointment.  Poor lil dude cannot catch a break!

Here are a few pictures from last night, as he fell asleep eating dinner.  Kerrick never did that and this is Caelum's first time - too funny!!

Baseball

This past weekend, Kerrick started "baseball!"  It is through a program here called Alamo Tot Sports.  It is not actually baseball but teaches his different skills (throwing ball, hitting ball, coordination, following directions etc.)  Unfortunately he was the only one in the class and was not interested the whole time.  It is suppose to last for 12 weeks, so we shall see how it continues to go?!!  Here are a few pictures from last Saturday.
