An Addiction and More Parties

Hello, My name is Michelle and I am addicted to selling our stuff!! HAHA!!  No actually it is quite fun to get rid of a stuff and make some money while doing it so you can buy new stuff to clutter the house back up!!!    Over the past few weeks we have sold some of our furniture and household knick knacks and decor.  And then we have bought a new kitchen table and having a friend shabby chic it up for us.  She is a wife of one of Jason's coworkers and is superwoman as she is in the military, has a baby and finishes furniture on the side.  I know she has put in a ton of hours into this table and chairs and is turning out better than I could imagine.  I can not wait to put it in our new house!!!  Guess it is a good thing I found out about her hobby as we are leaving or I would be sending her more furniture to redo!!!  I will post pictures once we get everything back.

Here are my lil construction workers taking a break while helping at the garage sale.

And a few pictures from yet another birthday party this weekend....I think all their little friends were born in November, we have birthday parties every weekend this month!  HA!!

House Hunting

In the middle of October, the 4 of us headed East to do a little house hunting trip.  We dropped the boys off in Georgia and Jason and I headed to North Carolina to do a little hunting.  The first day started off really "depressing" as the house that we both LOVED on the computer was not so appealing in person.  That was the first house we looked at and the day seemed to get worst after that but thankfully ended on a good note.    We looking more the next day but decided on the last house we looked at on that first day...sorry if that sounded confusing.  So we are currently in the process of getting everything worked out with all the paperwork and such and are due to close on our very first home on December 4 should all go smoothly.  Unfortunately we do not have any still pictures, just video of the house!

We only had time to visit one daycare there, so please be in a prayer for us about that.  The Elementary school Kerrick will start at next year seems good as we based our house hunting on the couple of Elementary schools we liked there so now to find a good daycare!

I currently have accepted an offer on a job at the hospital on base but still looking for another job.  The current job I have accepted will be 12 hour shift work which I am totally fine with but once Jason starts traveling it will be hard to find care for the lil dudes on the days I am working.  But definitely thankful for this job as it is at least getting my foot in the door there.

Jason has been very busy studying for his certifications he has to obtain before we arrive in North Carolina.  He has to spend hours and hours studying and then go to UTSA to take the actual test.  He has completed one thus far but the one he is currently studying for is supposedly a bit harder.  Please be in prayer for him during this time.

The boys are doing great!  I don't think they quite fully understand all that is about to take place although they do know something is going on.  We are moving ourselves this time around, so we are surrounded by cardboard boxes and our walls are beginning to become bare with all the packing.  They seem excited as we are talking to them about it but again I am pretty sure they don't understand the full extent of it all.

Here are a few pictures of them on the airplane!!

Halloween 2014

We had our first successful Trick or Treating this year thanks to our wonderful new neighbors.  They have a 10 year old lil dude, Patrick who helped out and led the way to start then once Kerrick got the hang of it, he took over. We had fun going around our block with our Batman and Leonardo and Patrick dressed as one of the people from the game Minecraft.

Also, the boys had a Fall Festival at school Thursday afternoon, so here are a few pictures from when I went.  Caelum was not having much of it, but Kerrick had fun!!

 The school's Ninja Turtles!!
And they are off to do their parade.
Kerrick was so excited and kept asking for his picture to be taken!

Caelum was not having his pictures made....these are 2 of our fav teachers, Ms. Janelle and Ms. Chantelle

Birthday Fun

We have celebrated a couple of birthdays over the past month.  First was one of Jason's coworkers little girls birthday and we went to an indoor jumpy place.  Later that day we had a birthday cookout for Jason's birthday and unfortunately I did not get any pictures.  But we had a great turnout with family and several of his coworkers.  Today we went to one of Caelum's buddies from school birthday party which was at Fiesta Farm near our house.  Here are a few pictures from Scarlet's birthday.

And here are some from Ryder's birthday today...Last time we came to a party here Kerrick would not ride the pony but was all about it this time.  Fun times had with all the parties!!

Kerrick First T-Ball Game

So I did not realize I have gotten so far behind in blogging....it has been quite a while since the last one.  We have been a bit busy with everything going on....house hunting, job hunting, daycare hunting, T-ball, Swimming, packing, birthdays and other stuff I am forgetting right now and oh yeah working in between it all.
So here are a few pictures of Kerrick's "first" T-ball game.  His true first game it was pouring down rain and they still played but Kerrick did not want to get wet. He has done great in playing although the first couple of practices and games he did not want to go.  But now he does not even think twice about it.  Not to sound big headed, but he seems to be a pretty good t-ball player...for a 4 year old!!  They always put him on first base and other people have told us multiple times how good he throws.  (Sorry had to add in our proud parent dig there!!)  Ha!!
So here are a few pictures from his first game...

I love this....Kerrick waving to his teammates to throw him the ball.

And of course a pic of the Kerrick cheering team!
