Happy Birthday Gramm's!!

Gramm's also had a birthday this week too....so what better time to celebrate while everyone was here!!  Here are a few pictures from Gramm's "birthday party!"

Happy 5th Birthday Kerrick!!

Last weekend we celebrated Kerrick's 5th Birthday Ninja Turtle Style.  We had our GA family up for the weekend to celebrate.  Kerrick has been soooo excited for his birthday for weeks.  We have been counting down since the New Year for his big day!!  We would be reminded every night and every morning of how many days were left.  He did have cupcakes on school Friday but I was unable to go to take pictures...stinks being the new guy at work as you can not ask off of work!

NC House

Well we are pretty much settled into our new house in NC.  We still a little bit more decorating to do, but just trying to decide what to do in the few rooms left!!

Jason started his school this past Monday and it seems we may not see him a lot for a few months, but at least he does get to come home every night (well almost every night!!)  You have to be grateful for the small stuff, right!!  He seems to love it thus far and his new unit will really be taking care of him...I mean first class all the way!!  Nothing he has ever experienced before in his military career.

And I actually, after only 14 years of being married to a military guy, went to my first spouses meeting earlier this week!  HA!!  Well, this one was kinda important, but nevertheless, I can say I went to a spouses meeting.  I may actually be a little involved with the spouses once Jason graduated from this class!!  But we will see!  HA!!
I will start my new job this coming Monday at another clinic that is literally 5 miles from our house.  Which will work out great especially when Kerrick starts kindergarten.  I really wanted to get on base again, as I love working with the military and dependents, but there was no jobs except shift work in the hospitals at this time.  But God has got a plan, whatever that maybe, we shall see!!

Kerrick and Caelum went for a 1/2 day at their new school this week to "transition" there!  Kerrick really loved it except that "yucky cheese stuff they served at lunch!"  I still do not know what he dish he is talking about but it was too funny to hear him talk about...he told me at least 5 times in the car how yucky it was.  And I have to tell this story even though Kerrick keeps asking me why I keep telling it, but it was a bit cute, I thought.  They got all dressed for school then Kerrick runs upstairs. I yell to him asking what he was getting.  He then comes downstairs with his pillow he normally keeps at school.  I said why did you get that and he replied with, I need it so I can take a nap at my new school.  But unfortunately he had to leave it as they were only going half the day that day.  Caelum did well although he had a few little crying spells, but there was another kid in there crying so I don't think that helped much.  I think Caelum was tired when I picked them up as he did not have a lot to say but seemed to have had fun!!  But overall they had a wonderful day at school and so excited to start full time!!

Here are just a few pictures of our house...more to come after we decorate some more!!  We finally hung curtains up in all the bedrooms today, so I will try to get more pictures up soon!!
