The Countdown
The countdown is finally coming to an end quickly....I only have 2 weeks left until I start school. I had orientation this past Thursday and reality is finally sinking in. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel again, even though graduation is less than 11 months away (yes I am already counting down until then!) And the anxiousness and nerves have already set in. I am anxious to get it started yet nervous to get back in the routine of school again, nursing school at that! We have a big class of 35 students that we will all become a family for the next 11 months. One of the instructors had said during orientation "look around the room at your classmates, these are the people you will be with most of your time during these next 11 months and these are the people who will truly understand what you are going through!" Although I did understand what she meant by that, yet, I wanted to shout out....I will have the Lord by my side through this all. Through the studying, through all the tests, through all of clinicals and with me as I see each of my patients and treat them. It is definitely going to be a rough, yet rewarding 11 months ahead and I am looking forward to it all and excited to see what other doors the Lord is going to open up!!

Hey girlie, I loved this blog, your teacher was totally right about these people becoming like family, because you do spend alot of time with them, however, you were even more right by saying that God will be with you every step of the way because he definitly will. I am so excited for you!! if you ever need anything, or if you had a bad day, bad clinical experience, or just want to talk in general, im just a phone call or email away, im going through the same things too.... its definitly very exciting and scary.... well hope to see you soon.... miss you
**lots of love**
