Made it Safely

J left in the wee hours of Thursday morning and made it to his destination about 24 hours or so later....so only about 120 more days to go and 19 more weekends! I sure hope it flies by! He is doing well thus far despite being tired (he has only gotten about 3 hours of sleep in the past 2 days!) He is 7 hours ahead of me or 8 ahead of the Texas fam. I spoke with him last night and he said he checked the weather before calling and it was 93 with a real feel of 102 (mind you - at 3am!) CRAZINESS! And he said the humidity is just crazy...I personally did not think humidity could get much worst than here or GA's humidity - but he said it is way worst. UGH!
All is well here on the homefront with ol Hanna touching ground. The town starting "shutting down" around 1:00 yesterday afternoon, although my job of course still wanted to see patients, so I was at work until 7pm. Up until I went to bed last night, we had only got about 20 minutes worth of rain and a tiny bit of wind. And to be honest I am not sure if it stormed bad through the night...I was still trying to catch up on my sleep from this busy week, so I slept hard and woke up to the yard full of leaves and the sun popping out.
If anyone wants J's contact information just let me know and I will e-mail it to you.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Sorry the pic is off centered - it was about 4am when I took it before we left Thursday for the airport!
