Well I know it has been a VERY long time since the last blog and of course a lot of things has happened. Kerrick did AWESOME on our journey half-way across the states. My mom helped the whole way traveling from VA to SC then SC to TX. We were truly grateful for her help as the trip probably would have taken way longer. We were also very grateful that we were able to get to stay with Jason's parents once we arrived in Texas until we moved into our house. It was nice to be able to stay there versus a hotel for 3 weeks.
After getting to Texas Kerrick had another tooth pop in on the bottom and then another one is breaking through on the top. He has done really well with all the changing of environments we have gone through and I think he likes the new place. He mastered the stairs on the first day at the house, so we have already put up a baby gate to try to prevent at least one bruise on him. He is doing great and adjusted to everything very smoothly. We met one of our neighbors who also have a 9 month old, so hopefully they will be playbuddies. I will start posting some way late pictures too. The picture at the top of this post was from yesterday....I heard Kerrick playing with the end table which I knew was empty. Well he then preceded to cry and I went to see why and the picture explains it all. He got in the end table and could not get out. After we laughed and took some pictures we got him out but of course he tried going back in. So hopefully more pictures to come!
