Kerrick and I made it back last night from our fabulous trip back home. It is always so good to be back home and was oh so hard to come back. We both had a wonderful time as I think everyone enjoyed seeing Kerrick again. He did wonderful on our flights despite it being a rough start with us sitting on the flightline for 3 hours in San Antonio before taking off. He got lots of spoiling and loving by everyone. We got to see lots of family and several friends. Kerrick went swimming in Teddy and Gramm's pool, went to the park, got a boo boo running around outside, wrestled and beat up Uncle Chris, played all day-everyday with Teddy and Gramms, flirted with the girls at restaurants, got to see and love some Fireworks, and he got to see some true rednecks and the end of a good ol GA redneck fight downtown! And there are LOTS more memories. Sure wish we could have stayed longer or at least until Jason gets home.
Jason is doing good. We are about to hit the halfway point of this deployment in about a week or so. He is halfway through his math class. He is doing great in his class and has one quiz and then the final exam left before he is finished with this class. Not too sure if he will be able to take one more class before he heads back home due the class schedule - if not, he can take it when he gets home. He was able to get a local (San Antonio) phone number, so if you did not receive an e-mail from me with the number, let me know and I will send it to you. I know he would love to hear some familiar voices! Just remember he is 8 hours ahead of Texas time, 7 hours ahead of GA time. He also has finally got a little camera, click HERE to view them. Here is what he said That bridge in the pic is where I've been fishing. The building with the green things on the top is where I live. And there will be more to come as he is able to get out and take some.
Thanks again Dad and Mom for putting up with Kerrick and I for a week....can not wait to see you again soon!!!
I will post the pictures from our trip later on this week!!
