Destin Family Trip 2013

This past week, we met up with my parents, Chris and Jen and their kids for a VERY nice vacation.  We all met up in Destin, FL for the whole week.  There trip there was great despite being so long and bit extended due to traffic.  The boys did great on the ride there.  It was so nice to get away and just relax on the ol Emerald Coast.  It was kind of weird going back to where Jason and I lived for our first 2.5 years of marriage.  Unfortunately, we did not go back by any of the places we lived, but just weird being in Destin again after 10+ years and see all the places we use to hang out on the weekends.
It was great getting to hang out with the family for the whole week and watch all the cousins play together!!
We did have some pretty bad storms come through, throughout the week, but of course it did not ruin it...just gave us an excuse to do some outlet shopping!!  And of course our last day there, the weather was gorgeous!!  The water started off a bit "dirty" looking but became the clear emerald as the days went on.
Jason and I were able to slip away (THANKS to Teddy and Gramm's) and get a parasailing trip in.  It was both our first time parasailing.  I had white knuckles and could not relax my legs, but it was still fun!!!  HaHa!!
We were able to get a few family pictures in as well.  We also got to celebrate Grant's birthday - the BIG 10!
