We took Caelum to his 2 year old well child check up this past Monday. He has a little rash or exzema flare up, not sure what it is, so we will be heading to Dermatology as our usual creams are not clearing it up. And the doctor changed his allergy medication, but other than that...all is swell!! Here are his stats...he finally gained a little weight, but still a little guy besides his ol noggin!!
Weight - 24.3 lbs (10%)
Length - 31.9 inches (4%)
Head Circumference - 49.5cm (72%)
BMI 56%

Happy Birthday Caelum!!
Happy Birthday to our feisty lil dude of the bunch!! You have been through so much in just your 2 short years and proved to be one tough lil Dude!! Dada and Mama love you so much and excited to see what God has planned for your life!!
This song is by Taylor Swift and makes me think of Caelum and Kerrick....oh I wish they would not grow up so fast!!
Your little hands wrapped around my finger
And it's so quiet in the world tonight
Your little eyelids flutter cause you're dreaming
So I tuck you in and turn on your favorite nightlight
To you, everything's funny
You got nothing to regret
I'd give all I have honey
If you could stay like that
Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up
Just stay this little
Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up
It could stay this simple
I won't let nobody hurt you
Won't let no one break your heart
No one will desert you
Just try to never grow up
Never grow up
You're in the car on the way to the movies
And you're mortified your mom's dropping you off
At fourteen, there's just so much you can't do
And you can't wait to move out
Someday and call your own shots
But don't make her drop you off around the block
Remember that she's getting older too
And don't lose the way that you dance around in your p.j.s getting ready for school
Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up
Just stay this little
Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up
It could stay this simple
And no one's ever burned you
Nothing's ever left you scarred
And even though you want to
Just try to never grow up
Take pictures in your mind of your childhood room
Memorize what it sounded like when your dad gets home
Remember the footsteps, remember the words said
And all your little brother's favorite songs
I just realized everything I have is someday gonna be gone
So here I am in my new apartment
In a big city, they just dropped me off
It's so much colder than I thought it would be
So I tuck myself in and turn my nightlight on
Wish I'd never grown up
I wish I'd never grown up
Oh I don't wanna grow up
Wish I'd never grown up
Could still be little
Oh I don't wanna grow up
Wish I'd never grown up
It could still be simple
Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up
Just stay this little
Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up
It could stay this simple
I won't let nobody hurt you
Won't let no one break your heart
And even though you want to
Please try to never grow up
Don't you ever grow up
Just never grow up
Here is a picture from this morning before school!! Is a phone picture and not the best as he was so excited and jumping around. Kerrick and I sung Happy Birthday a couple times to him and he just would giggle then sang it once for himself. Teddy and Gramm's flew in for his birthday and we took a cookie cake for his friends at school!! Tomorrow we are having a little birthday for Caelum with all of our family!! I will post more pictures from the party later this weekend.

For Gma!!
Tomorrow is definitely a bittersweet day. This past Saturday night, my grandma (Dad's mom), passed away. tomorrow I will fly back to GA for her services. Definitely bitter as it is always hard to say bye, especially when I did not get to see her before she was so sick and Sweet as thankfully she is not suffering any more. I am left with lots of memories of her from far back as I can remember in my 33 years of life! here are a few...
- I can still hear her calling and saying My Michelle - she always called me that, even as an adult, I can hear her now the exact way as she always said it
- I have always and will always think of her and Fishead (aka my Grandpa - not sure how we gave him the name of Fishead - and to be honest I still want to call him that as an adult, but just call him Grandpa now) when I eat apple jelly, and only the apple jelly with the orange top - I don't remember the brand. Everytime we spent the night, they always cooked us breakfast to include, eggs, bacon and toast with butter and none other than the apple jelly. Growing up we only had grape jelly at home, so that was a treat
- I remember spending the night when my cousin, Jennifer was in town and we would go play beauty salon at Grandma's beauty table thing. She used a spritz white rain hairspray and we would get her empty bottles and put water in it, but still smelled of white rain hairspray and we would put her curlers and all in our hair
- I remember Grandma always gave Jennifer and I plastic jewelry and plastic dressup shoes that we would prance around her house in
- I remember the time we went for one of the holidays and Grandma cooked some salty, I mean really good cornbread stuffing...that was the talk of that year and probably a few years to come
- I remember what an awesome baker she was....she always brought us a homemade German Chocolate Cake, Turtles, Peanut Butter balls....the BEST!!!
- I remember walking to the gas station from their house and getting our "cigarrettes" (candy ones) from the store
- I remember going to Beaufort with them to stay and go to the beach and Grandma would always put her cotton balls in her ears so she would not get an ear infection. And on one of these trips, I remember getting stung for the first time by a jellyfish.
- I remember riding in her car with her and she would have her dixie cup of water in the cup holder to put her cigarettes in after she finish smoking - HAHA!! too funny!!
- I remember riding to Atlanta with her and Fishhead to visit my Aunt Ginny and Uncle Jimmy and cousin Jennifer and she would talk to the truckers on the ol CB Radio and thank them for honking there horns as we passed by each truck pumping our arms to get them to honk
-I remember as part of our birthday presents every year, she would wrap up a 6 pack of our favorite soda in brown bag paper - we were always so excited to get them
- I remember her and Fishead coming to our soccer games or band concert or whatever to support us
- I remember that every Sunday morning around 1000 or 1100, Grandma always called to see what was going on. Dad and her would chat for a while, so Dad definitely gets his talking honestly from his Mom and I guess I have inherited it a bit too, as I am known by some at work at Chatty Cathy - but I just call it being friendly, but some of my coworkers think otherwise ! LOL!!
- I remember Grandma has always called Jason and I to just say hello no matter where we have been stationed and once the boys came along, she seemed so proud of them and always called to check on her boys
I know there are way more memories, but all that came to mind as I sat to type a quick blog for her!
We love you Gma and you will be missed, but we hope to see you again soon!!

Another New Hangout Spot
Yesterday, the boys and I went to a "new" playground that was not too far! Just trying to change up the scenery from our usual spots!! Here are a few pictures...we only got to stay for an hour as we had some errands to stop at! But they had fun and it wore them out a bit....unfortunately, I should have taken them after church last night to wear them out. With the new time, we have been up since 515....hopefully they will adjust during the week! Haha!!

Happy Halloween
Here are a few pictures from Halloween!! Kerrick was Dusty and Caelum was El Chu from the movie Planes. It took a while for Miss Wendy and Miss Janelle to get Caelum into his costume but once they did, he did not want to take it. Unfortunately Kerrick did not want to put his costume on at school and took more coaxing once we got home to get it on him to go Trick or Treating. Once Kerrick put his on, as you can tell, he pulled his sleeves and pants up and kept it that way. The pants would not stay up so he held them up as he walked. Silly boy!! Caelum was cheesing it up and loved every minute of it. It was the quickest trick or treating...we may have been out for 20 minutes. After about the 4th house, Kerrick was done. I held Caelum the whole time as he was not so sure about all the scary stuff. So we came home and they played in the yard for a little bit and handed out some candy before we headed in. But overall, I think they had fun at their party at school and fun trick or treating even if it was for a little bit!!
Pictures of before we "headed" out
Random pic of Caelum from earlier in the week...an hour or 2 before he was all kinds of upset that I left him at school.
Miss Wendy and Miss Janelle finally got him to keep his costume on.
He would not let them take off his costume and asked for his hat before going to sleep.
Heading out!!
And After.....Kerrick finally let his pants down!!!
And Mr. Poser!!!
