We started hopefully a little tradition/memory making to continue on for "years to come!!" We baked and decorated Christmas cookies. The boys had fun making a mess and eating all the sugar. Kerrick was done decorating after 2 cookies and Caelum stopped after about 5...so not too bad for the first time!
The boys also go to see their first live Nativity Saturday night. After church we drove to Concordia Lutheran Church who was having a drive through Live Nativity. Thanks Ms. Janelle for telling us about it. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes in the car line...but they start off by giving you a bag of homemade cookies. Then you get a CD in which you listen to as you drive through the scenes and it tells the Christmas story as you go along. Kerrick wanted to go again after we went through, but if the line was not so long we surely would have. Caelum cried the whole waiting time, but once we started through the story he was quiet and looking and commenting every now and then!
Hopefully next weekend, we can make it to see some lights after church!!
