So I finally took a pic of the countdown "wall!" for Jason!!! Kerrick and Caelum each have their own chain so they don't fight over who gets to rip the link that day. I think we may a few more links than needed...but better to expect more than less and have to wait even longer!! I am not sure they quite understand but it makes me excited to see it get smaller as the time draws very near!!
And here is a picture of Caelum with his Mickey Mouse Laptop from Nanny. The past 2 days he will run and get it from the toy box and said I wanna see Dada! He opens it with a big smile and says look, Dada! I probably should tape his picture inside of it for the next time he opens it!! But too cute!! They are going to be 2 VERY excited boys when Dada is finally home!!! It definitely can not come any quicker!!!
We have a HUGE prayer request. I have mentioned in a different entry a while back. But it is for Ms. Janelle (the boys teacher and a good friend!) Her mother was diagnosed with Brain Cancer several months ago at stage 4. She has been through the chemo and radiation for only more "spots" to pop up. (Janelle may have to correct me on some of this information) She was being seen here in San Antonio but has visited a well known Cancer Center in Houston. She has decided to go talk surgery again with the doctors in Houston and they have an appointment this Friday. I just ask prayers for this sweet family, wisdom and discernment for them during the decision making, and strength and peace through it all. And pray for the doctors and the staff under them. I can not even begin to imagine what they are going through. Unfortunately, I have not met her mother, but if she is anything like her daughters she is a wonderful lady. If Janelle only knew how much our little family loves and appreciates her!! Prayers to the Ruggs fam today and in the days, weeks and months to come!! Love you guys!!
