Just wanted to give a BIG shout out to my homie...Jason!! Very excited for him as he won Service Member of the Quarter!! Jason, will have to correct me on some of this info and probably add more info, but he was told almost "last minute" that he was going up for this award. So he was able to get his package together and study for the board. The Air Force never has boards (where you stand amongst a group of people "grading" you on different areas.) It sounds simple, but lots of work goes into awards. So I definitely was excited to hear that he was nominated...then way excited that he won!!! He said it is a "pretty big deal!" But of course is humble as usual about his work and award!!! He goes for another board in November, to try for the Service Member of the Year! Very proud of you Babe!!
Of course every post needs a picture...so had to put this one up! He does not let me take many of him in uniform!
