July Shenanigans

Well, it has been a few weeks since the last post....so here goes a 3 week quick post.

Everyone is doing well with everything going on.  I don't have too much to report on Jason as I can not ask him anything and he can not say anything!  But he just switched shifts so he is trying to adjust to the new times and working full days with little sleep.  This past week they got a bit of rain and cooled it down by about 30 degrees, but of course jumped back to over 110 quickly after!  Ugh.  I do not have his new mailing address, but if you want it, just let me know and I will send it to you as soon as he sends out the info.  A card or e-mail is always exciting to get when you are so far away from family and friends!!

The boys are doing really well through all of this....I went into it all negative thinking Caelum was going to be a bear, but they have actually done really well.  They ask almost daily how many more sleeps until Dada comes home.  And Kerrick last night told me, that he really missed Dada alot!  Broke my heart to actually hear him say that!  The first 2 weeks were nice as we were on teh same schedule as Jason (we all went to work/school and bed around the same time) but he recently had to switch shifts so we don't have the luxury of talking to him as often :(

The weekend before last we went to see the Minions movie...and of course had to go to McDonalds to get a toy afterwards.  It was very cute and the boys loved it!

 And Happy Birthday to me....a battery weedeater.  We have a good weedeater already but is gas and I have issues starting it....I can somehow start our lawnmower but have issues with the weedeater.  So Jason researched for me and I went and pick this nifty one up.  WAY easier!!

 Last weekend we met my family for  quick trip in Myrtle Beach.  We headed down after work/school we headed down Friday evening and came back Sunday afternoon.  Here are a few pictures from the weekend...I will post more once I get them from Dad! But we all had a fun time and sure wished we could have gone longer!!

 This weekend, the lil dudes and I headed up to Raleigh for a day trip.  We went to a really cool Children's Museum and spent at least 3 hours and still not go into all of the sections as the boys would get stuck having fun in one area and not want to leave.  So we will have to make another trip up again.  It is by far the best kids museum we have been to.  Thanks to my coworker for telling us about it.  And afterwards we headed to the outlets to get some more school stuff.  I think Kerrick is almost ready for Kindergarten!!

 And here are the dudes getting their special treats this pas weekend.  Caelum had his first week of being on Green ALL week long!!  They have a red light system at school and we have it at home too.  We will just say Caelum runs along some bumps most days and does not end on Green, but not this week...Team Green dominated the court and won!!  We even have a Team Green "chant" we do every morning before going into school after we pray!  Whatever it takes to keep him Green and most importantly, listening/obeying and not hitting or pushing his friends!
