Officially Closed!

Our car lot is officially closed now!! J and his brother, Brad, bought a kayak together in that Brad will have one to use while they were visiting and then were going to turn around and sell it. We also had a nifty ol 1985 Ford Pickup truck we were trying to sell. Last week the kayak sold in a record time and then today J sold the ol red truck! Praise God for the selling of them both. So J is retiring temporarily from the sales lot....although I am sure it will reopen once he returns?! Too Funny! He bought the truck for a great deal and then sold it to only make a lot more money on it. So Thank you Lord for that wonderful blessing!

I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend celebrating our independence. We had a quiet, yet nice weekend! On the 4th we went to Yorktown to check out the festivities during the day and then headed back that way to watch the fireworks in the car, it was raining pretty heavy, but so worth going! And the rest of the weekend we just hung out, ran some errands, of course some studying was fit in and J was able to get a little bit of fishing in.....it rained on and off so he got a little bit of time in, in between the storms. We surely needed the rain and we surely got it, along with the thunderstorms! It has been awesome to hear thunderstorms again....in the 4 years we were in Germany, there was not even a handful of times that we heard thunder and lightning, we had PLENTY of rain but no noise to go with it!

J heads back to work tomorrow after the long weekend, so I am sure he is excited about that! LOL! Although it will be interesting, because his shop is closed and they did not tell anyone where they were to report to. But please do keep us in your prayers these next few weeks, as assignments will be going out and we find out if we are to move or not. Also, we are just praying for what the next step would be in regards to his career and becoming an officer and if that is His will for J, that the right doors be opened in regards to his schooling and the right program to get into.

Also, our website should be up and running within the next few days. J is tweeking it up a bit and should be finished soon with a few new pics on there!
We pray you all have an awesome week!
